Green Noise Experiment

Ale Fernandez / Dorkbot Bristol

A Ganzfeld Experiment uses simple and easily available or assemble-able items to create a wearable device that induces hallucinations after about 5 - 10 minutes.

A description of the 3 devices to be used, and instructions (for an arduino based device) is here:  [1]

Green noise is defined as "mid frequency white noise" with an emphasis on the range around 500hz. It sounds like an average of many natural sounds.

By submitting for just 20 minutes to the green noise experiment, you can hack your brain, cleanse your mind and perhaps be reborn an eco-hero.

There will be up to 3 machines, generating either green, pink or white noise available from 12-5pm on Sunday in the entrance to the Arnolfini Bizbar on the first floor, and a space in which to sit down. First come first served.

Plans will be available.
