Craftivist-collective events: There is an event on 20th Feb, at the Southbank, London and our Mini Protest Banner Kits are going to be sold as part of an extreme craft exhibition from 11th March in Ink-d, Brighton. See www.craftivist-collective.com for more details
Zukanican: well, we're planning a trip down from Liverpool to perform on the Saturday. We have our own little groove on but would also be into some musical collaboration with interested parties from late afternoon onwards. Please get in touch - zukanican(at)gmail.com - if you think it sounds like a plan or we'll just bump into you during the day at some point. Also, could do with some sagely advice from someone as to how we're actually going to make this happen; will there be a PA with an engineer available or is that something we would need to track down? Does anyone know this venue? We've booked oursleves to play in the theatre as that looked the most obvious place for a band, but would consider other spaces if suggested by those in the know. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. All the best, Z.
Dorkbot: We are planning an eye exhibit, which needs to be about chest or face height, with access to a wall socket. It will be an eye that follows you around as you pass, so an un used corner is best. A space to tinker close by will also be needed. Is there a good space for this around? From chatting to Geoff and Rui, it seems the 1st floor meeting room might be a good tinker space, and for the eyes, either the entrance to the arnolfini, or the basement by the toilets (if we can get an extension in place to plug into). I'll try and add more details on our stuff on the dorkbot page.
[Alex] i'll be creating a light contorlled keyboard and furby combo. If there is dark space i'll take it, otherwise i'm going to jimmy a dark area out of gazebo poles and some cloth/curtains. I'll need a socket nearish (have an extension) for my mixer and a small amp for the toys.
It'll most likely be unfinished/half finished or at least there'll be room for improvement / additions. I intend to bring my circuit bending stuff on saturday and add to the collection of circuit bent toys/instrucments as the day progresses. Anyone who fancies some bending on the day, bring a toy/small keyboard/noisy thing and i'll bring the solder, we'll add them to the light controlled weirdness and you can take home at the end of the day. This won't be open to the public, only other artists in uncraft/my friends for reasons of safety and not getting in trouble for solder burns/broken toys.
My main aim is to let people see the creation side as well as the finished work and make the exhibit morph through the day.
@Arnolfini staff/Rui: would the cafe be a suitable place to do some hacking, or will there be somewhere more appropriate, all i need is a plug socket and a table. (and maybe a chair or 2 :)

We're looking to borrow an assortment of comfortable cushion-like chairs (e.g., bean bag chairs, large cushions and ottoman-style seats) for the touch me touch you performance. Anyone living in Bristol able to get a hold of a small collection of such seats from friends/networks? One or two would suffice; filling the 'underground' space with them would be even better. Please contact: shaynabethany@gmail.com. - Cheers, Shayna.
Shayna Schapp Greetings. I'd like to announce plans for the collaborative interactive performance, touch me, touch you, a project by myself and artist Amy Purifoy-Piazza. We're planning to use a significant portion of the underground level for the majority of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. However, please don't hesitate to contact me if you were interested in using this space, as Amy and I can be flexible with the structure of this project. We're looking forward to meeting everyone in Bristol! contact: shaynabethany@gmail.com.
Dennis de Bel: CALL for 'Going Dutch' project during Craftivision (I can't seem to edit the program (dl the .png and edit+upload it again?))
Daniele: I am planning to setup a musical performance possibly at the Theatre space to be combined to a visual performance. This means that a PA and a sound engineer is needed. Does anybody know if these facilities are available at the Theatre? Who can we get in touch with for these matters or has ideas how to get it organized?
MilkPixel - We'd quite like to have our system running throughout the day. It's best suited to dark areas and places with sound. We're going to try and make it portable. It would be quite nice to have it running in the background during other events or just free for public interaction. If your event involves music and / or physical performance then maybe we can combine our efforts? - [Ad]
[Daniele] Do you think that your work would fit as a "visual background" to a band performing hard psychedelic sounds? let me know
[Ad - MilkPixel] - Absolutely, that sounds perfect :-)
[Alex] I'm intending on doing something with circuit bent instruments which will definitely be noisy. Hopefully somewhere dark too if i get the light controls working.
[Ad - MilkPixel] - Sounds cool, we're in
...if we get it all finished before the weekend that is...
[Alex] hear ya on the getting things finished. It will be done!
[Ad - MilkPixel] - A couple of hours ago it was fully working, now it isn't. Tomorrow morning is going to be very busy trying to fix this so really sorry if we are late or absent.
Flyers anyone?
I planning to create individual flyers for each event. Anyone interested? [rui]
I'm definitely interested, Rui. We can discuss via email or phone if you'd like. Amy and I are putting together some designs this week. - Shayna
Yes please, for green noise -Ale
Definately, but only just read this now so not sure if you'll already done it by now - Ad

How can I insert an image in a page?
For now is only possible to insert images that exist somewhere else online. You can include one by simply pasting its url in a page.
What about space and resources? Where can we host our event?
Have a look at the available spaces and resources here.
What about food?
There is the Arnolfini Bar, and nearby bars, pubs and restaurants.
However! It may be a great idea to either:
- Find funding from a company - to sponsor some food and drink. OR,
- Collectively (among attendees) chip in to get some takeaways
(Up for discussion!)
